North Pole Centerpiece
This North Pole Centerpiece is easy to make with simple craft supplies. You couldn't ask for a cuter Christmas craft to decorate the house or classroom!
This craft won our 2011 Christmas Craft Contest! Congratulations to Kerry F. from Grand Rapids MI who did this craft with her her day care children ages 2-5.
Ages: 3-5
Here's what you'll need... • 1 paper towel roll • 1 square piece of cardboard • foam styrofoam balls • bag of cotton balls • white paint • silver paint • red glitter • tacky glue • red construction paper
Here's how you make it... 1. Paint balls silver and paper towel rolls white, set aside to dry.
2. Glue paper towel roll upright to cardboard base. Apply glue following the spiral on the roll, sprinkle on glitter, set aside to dry.
3. Glue silver ball on the top of pole, unroll cotton balls and glue to base around pole as "snow". Make a North Pole sign from red and white paper and attach to front.
