Easy Foil Ornaments
These Easy Foil Ornaments are super fun to make and they sure would look great on any Christmas tree! Preschoolers may need help cutting the shapes, but they'll love to design their very very own ornament!
Level of Difficulty: Easy
Here's what you'll need...
• Cardboard
• Foil
• Paint and brush
• Q-Tips
• Monofilament/thread/string
Here's how you make them...
1. Cut out some ornament shapes from cardboard. Trace around a mug or saucer to make round shapes. Cover the shapes with foil.
2. Paint the foil and before it dries use a Q-tip to "erase" some of the paint so the shiny foil comes through. You'll need to use a few Q-tips for each ornament, once they get covered with too much paint they won't "erase" very well.
3. Tie a piece of monofillament (like fishing line) or string onto your ornaments to hang on the tree.
